What is
sparring?
Sparring
(kumite) is fighting with landing a heavy blow or knock out on your partner
there are three stages of kumite.
Basic:
This means
you spar at about 10% power and you exchange blocks and punches
Intermediate:
This means you spar at 50% (blue belt and
above)
Dju:
Full control of moves set by high grade (brown belts and
above)
(Sweeps, hook kicks)
